holding on to adolescence and inspired by memory, loss, and nostalgia, my practice in an exploration of how the past meets the present. Using personal as well as found memories, I illustrate hazy, bitter-sweet images that hope to transport the audience to a place they may or may not want to revisit. blurring the line between painting and photography my mediums distort innocent memories of childhood.
